For high-traffic utility environments like this compactor room at 750 Bay, we provided a comprehensive waterproofing and structural restoration solution designed to withstand extreme mechanical stress.

Our team began by rehabilitating the drainage system by cutting and chipping concrete to install new commercial-grade drains and rebuilding the surrounding slope to ensure positive water flow. To create an impenetrable and seamless barrier, we utilized the Tremco Vulkem 360/950/951 system, which is specifically engineered to endure the heavy rolling weight of industrial compactors.

The process included rigorous mechanical surface preparation, the routing and sealing of all structural cracks, and the application of a 6-inch vertical upturn on all curbs and cinderblock walls. Finished with a broadcast of silica sand for slip resistance, this multi-coat system offers the building long-term protection against water ingress, chemical exposure, and heavy machinery wear.
